I hope 2023 will bring peace. I started making games when I was 13 using GameMaker and all your resources helped me a lot throughout the years, the contributions you've made to GM are incredible. That was 15 years ago and now, a few weeks before the invasion began, I got my first job as a game developer. It really sucks that there are indeed some Russians that actually think that way (4th and 5th). But those are mostly either elderly or youth that does nothing but drink and read state media. I wish you all the luck and hope that this can end soon for you.
4th is mostly so, 5th is usually people that do have at least a bit of a wit - heck, one of the more toxic Russian game development communities in Discord has been spotting a "Z" avatar since the beginning of the war and somehow has gotten away with a verbal warning despite apparently having a bit of everything ranging from members calling for extermination of every Ukrainian to holocaust denial.
